It's official. We all knew it by looking at her, but as of today we can now officially say we have a very chubby baby. Or in Roberts word's, we have a "fatty." Julia had her two month checkup today and she weighs 14 pounds (95th percentile). She's almost doubled her birth weight (7 lbs 10 oz) in two months. We also found out we have a short, fat baby. She is 22.5 in. (34th percentile). Of course, we all think she's still the prettiest baby in the world, even when she's looking particularly chubby, as in the photo above.She did pretty good during her shots, she only cried frantically for a minute or so and then she calmed down and fell asleep. This evening though, we have a very unhappy baby on our hands. I've never seen her cry right after she finishes eating! The entire house feels bad for her, no one likes to see a baby so obviously unhappy. I gave her some Tylenol and she's fallen back asleep now. Poor baby!

Well with Julia's incredible stats I need to do two things, either fatten Tyler up quickly or teach him some defensive skills by Aug. or he is gonna get pounded. :)
wow. johnny's only got 1 1/2 lbs on her and he's 6 1/2 months. of course he's the other end of the spectrum. i can't seem to fatten him up despite my best efforts.

She will just get fatter and fatter until she crawls! It is really cute! I have a photo of Josh at 5 months and he was round! Started crawling the next month and slimmed right down. She is beautiful and you are doing a great job!
