Birthday Cake
The same day we had the Easter egg hunt we also celebrated Julia's 1st birthday with my family (and then we celebrated again the next week with Robert's family). This was the only time she was allowed to run a muck with the cake though.
I was cringing to see her eating cake, but she loved it.
In the end she didn't actually eat much but more mushed her cake slice into oblivion.

She looks so happy with that cake smeared everywhere, why aren't adults allowed to do that?
