Sandberg Family Reunion- Let The Games Begin

The theme of this year's family reunion was Sandberg Olympics. Each sibling's family (ie, my Dad and each of his brothers and sisters families) represented a different country. If you notice, many of the families also had team uniforms in the form as team shirts. We competed against each other in Olympic competitions, and for one weekend, we really packed in the competitions. It wasn't really too competitive, most just fun!

My Mom and Micah with our team uniform. We were representing the Philippines and this is the Filipino crest with the some words in Tagalog and " Sandberg 2014."

The first event was a 5k run...or walk, whatever you were up to. Because who doesn't like a nice morning stroll at the Ranch? Here comes some of the walkers.

 All the Filipino runners. We swept the podium in the men's division, and I took first place in the women's division.

Later that night (actually much much later, around 11:00 pm, we were on Sandberg time) we had an awards ceremony. Here are all the Filipino 5K medal winners, Robert took first, my dad was second and Chris was third.

 And the women's competition. Phillipines in first place, Micronesia in second, and The Netherlands in third.
